Challenge

Ranger Construction does serious commercial work across multiple sectors: industrial facilities, office upfits, retail interiors, and medical renovations. Their portfolio is strong and their reputation in the market is built on project quality, but a website that can’t show that portfolio clearly leaves business on the table. Commercial contractors competing for larger projects need a web presence that earns the first conversation, and a generic site without a well-organized project gallery doesn’t do that job. Recruiting skilled tradespeople is also a constant challenge in construction, and there was no online path for candidates to apply. Asterisk*Creative brought us in to develop the site alongside their design direction.

Solution

We built the site on WordPress with Bootstrap, following Asterisk*Creative’s design. The project gallery is the centerpiece, organized by sector so potential clients can find examples relevant to their industry without browsing through unrelated work. Industrial buyers see industrial projects; medical clients see medical renovation work. Staff bios give the company a face and connect the portfolio to the people behind it. An online job application makes it straightforward for candidates who find Ranger through a search or referral to take the first step.

Results

Ranger Construction now has a site that presents their portfolio at the level the work deserves. The project gallery does the selling without inflating anything, which fits a company whose reputation is built on quality rather than marketing. Staff can be recruited through the site directly without any back-and-forth before a first application comes in. Prospects in any of Ranger’s target sectors can find relevant project examples quickly. The site earned its place in the company’s business development process and gives Ranger a web presence that holds up to scrutiny from the clients they want to work with.
