Challenge

Jeff Kerr spent years leading pit crews in NASCAR, and when he launched PitKerr Team Training, he had a genuinely different training program and a story to back it up. Corporate leadership training is a crowded space and differentiation matters. Jeff’s premise is that NASCAR pit crews perform at a level most corporate teams never reach because they train for precision under pressure, and those principles translate directly to how business teams operate. To land corporate clients, he needed a site that explained that premise clearly before a prospect clicked away. A new business with no search history also needs performance from the start and a site that costs almost nothing to run while the client base is building.

Solution

We built the landing page on Astro with TailwindCSS, deployed on Netlify. Astro’s static generation keeps the site fast and the hosting cost is minimal, which are the right priorities for a business in its early stage. The page is structured around Jeff’s background and his training framework: who he is, what a pit crew actually has to accomplish under pressure, and how those principles apply to corporate teams. The NASCAR credential is the main hook and the page treats it as such. Visitors land on a page that explains the concept and makes it easy to reach Jeff if they want to know more.

Results

Anyone who finds Jeff through a referral or a search lands on a page that gives the full picture in a short scroll. The background, the curriculum, and the path to hiring him are all there without padding. The site runs at near-zero infrastructure cost, which matters for a startup keeping overhead tight while building a client base. Jeff has a professional presence that holds up to the scrutiny of corporate buyers evaluating a training investment. The foundation is there to grow the site as the business grows, without requiring a rebuild.
