Challenge

MetCore Industrial Solutions makes high-precision sheet metal components and assemblies for a range of industrial sectors. Their manufacturing work demands extreme accuracy, and clients who evaluate vendors apply the same scrutiny to anything associated with the company, including the website. The existing site wasn’t communicating MetCore’s capabilities or the precision of their work in a way that matched the quality of what they make. The team also had no practical way to update product information without calling a developer, which meant the site fell behind as the catalog evolved. Asterisk*Creative brought us in to handle the development side of a redesign they were leading.

Solution

Working from the design Asterisk*Creative provided, we built a static site on Jekyll with Forestry handling content management. Jekyll generates clean, fast static pages that don’t require server maintenance and don’t break under load. Forestry gives the MetCore team a simple interface to update product pages, add new capabilities, and keep company information current without any technical knowledge. The build focused on presenting the product catalog and MetCore’s industrial expertise clearly and without unnecessary complexity. Every section of the site is manageable by the MetCore team directly.

Results

The finished site presents MetCore’s precision manufacturing clearly and loads fast. The team manages their own content without outside help, which means product pages stay accurate as the catalog changes. The quality of the site now reflects the quality of what MetCore makes, which was the standard Asterisk*Creative brought to the project from the beginning. Industrial buyers who land on the site see a company that pays attention to detail at every level, which is exactly what MetCore is.
